These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Hardwood Court IQ, a service operated by KansTex ("we", "us", or "our"), available at hardwoodcourtiq.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Hardwood Court IQ provides college basketball ratings, win probabilities, projections, and related analytics. A free tier is available to everyone; paid Pro and Premium tiers unlock additional features as described on our pricing page.

Informational use only — not betting advice

Our ratings, predictions, and projections are statistical estimates provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are not guarantees of any outcome and are not gambling, betting, or investment advice. You are solely responsible for any decision you make based on the information we provide, including any wagering decisions, which you make at your own risk and in compliance with the laws that apply to you. We do not accept, place, or facilitate bets.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• Accounts are for individual use. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to create one.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed in advance on an annual basis through Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each term unless canceled beforehand.
• You can cancel at any time from your account's billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will work with you in good faith.
• We may change plan prices or features; we will give notice of material changes, and price changes take effect on your next renewal.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute our data or content except as expressly permitted;
• Circumvent, disable, or attempt to bypass paywalls, access controls, or usage limits;
• Share, resell, or transfer your account or access credentials;
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or its related systems;
• Use the service to violate any applicable law or the rights of others.

Intellectual property

The site, its design, and the ratings, models, and analytics we generate are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Underlying game data is provided by collegebasketballdata.com and remains subject to its terms. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the service for your personal, non-commercial use.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any prediction or rating will prove correct.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KansTex and Hardwood Court IQ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or reliance on — the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or its users.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above, and material changes will be communicated through the service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
